Kate Lloyd is a highly experienced pelvic health physiotherapist who has gained a wealth of experience working in the NHS and private sector in London. Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, Kate is passionate about supporting all women with their pelvic health needs.
After achieving a degree in Human Biology (BSc Hons) at the University of Birmingham in 2009, Kate went on to study at St George’s University, London and gain her Physiotherapy BSc Hons degree. Kate began her career within the NHS and having developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, Kate went on to specialise in women’s health which has since become her passion and focus. With experience working in the NHS and private hospitals in central & north London, Kate is excited to now be providing pelvic health physiotherapy in St. Albans.
Kate worked for many years in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy prior to specialising in pelvic health, and is well equipped to comprehensively assess and treat those with pelvic health conditions. She understands the impact that pelvic floor problems can have on quality of life and confidence, and she is passionate about supporting and empowering women to improve their pelvic health, at whatever stage they are in their life.
Kate also provides breast cancer surgery rehabilitation and is able to support clients through the emotional and physical challenges of surgery recovery and ongoing treatment. She will work with you to regain function and confidence, and can support with scar management. Kate has experience with supporting people with chronic pain and those who have experienced trauma, and is dedicated to providing empathetic, individualised care in a safe, comfortable environment.
Kate is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), an affiliate member of the POGP (Pelvic, Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapy) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
