This specialist women’s health physiotherapy service provides treatment and management of a range of pelvic health conditions including pregnancy aches & pains, post-natal rehab (including The Mummy MOT), urinary incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, scar treatment and rehabilitation following surgical interventions including hysterectomy.

Pregnancy care
Physiotherapy can help help manage aches and pains and help you feel your best during pregnancy. Symptoms such as lower back pain and pelvic girdle pain (PGP) are common - physiotherapy can help keep you feeling strong, comfortable and enjoying your pregnancy.

The Mummy MOT
The Mummy MOT is relevant for all women who have had a baby, regardless of whether vaginal or caesarean delivery. This comprehensive assessment ‘MOT’ is recommended from 6 weeks postnatal & it is never too late! It includes an in depth assessment of abdominals, pelvic floor muscle function, any scars and specialist physiotherapy rehabilitation tailored to you. Recommended for all who have had a baby.

Gynaecology

About
Kate Lloyd is a highly experienced pelvic health physiotherapist who has gained a wealth of experience working in the NHS and private sector in London. Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, Kate is passionate about supporting all women with their pelvic health needs.
After graduating from St George’s University, London, Kate began her career within the NHS. Having developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, Kate went on to specialise in pelvic health which has since become her passion and focus. Having worked in private practice in St John’s Wood, London and the NHS in North London, Kate is excited to now be able to provide pelvic health physiotherapy in St. Albans.
